Why I Started Aura René

Aura René didn’t start with a business plan — it started with years of working in retail, watching how the industry worked from the inside. I saw customers pay three times what an item was truly worth, simply because they were told that’s what it was “valued” at. It never sat right with me. I wanted to create a space where people could find jewelry that felt beautiful, meaningful, and fairly priced — without the smoke and mirrors that so often come with the industry.

More Than an Accessory

Jewelry has always been more than an accessory to me. I’ve seen how a single piece can carry a memory, mark a milestone, or simply make someone feel more like themselves. But when I shopped for it — whether for myself or others — I often found the experience impersonal and overly driven by trends. I wanted something slower, more thoughtful. Aura René was born from the idea that you shouldn’t have to choose between beauty, meaning, and honesty.

When I choose pieces for Aura René, I’m not just filling a catalog. I’m looking for designs that feel timeless, wearable, and intentional — pieces that will mean something long after the moment of purchase. Many of our pieces are crafted in genuine S925 sterling silver for durability and lasting beauty, but what matters most is how they make you feel when you wear them. I’d rather offer a smaller, well-chosen collection than overwhelm with endless options that don’t carry a story.
